意味 Meaning
Kigo Usui (うすい 雨水) is one of the 24 solar terms (二十四節気).
Kanji 雨 means "rain."
Kanji 水 means "water."
Therefore, kanji 雨水 literally means "Rain water" or "Rain turns into water."
雨水 comes after 立春 (Spring stand) in the 二十四節気 (24 solar terms).
The rain falls on the earth and penetrates deep into the ground. The Rain turns into water, waking up plant seeds, seedlings, and insects from hibernation.
The warm water touches our skin and the humid air touches our lungs. Send signals to life, encouraging it to prepare for the next stage.
