意味：夏の場面の１つで、夕方から夜にかけて、太陽が西日(にしび)で空を染める世界観を持ちます。静寂と解放、休息と期待、などを暗示する両義的な季語です。映像用語では、マジックアワー(magic-hour)、文学用語では、逢魔時(おうまがとき)とも呼ばれます。茜射すは、日本語において万葉集に現れており、語源は、大和言葉の「あか」と「ね」にあると考えられます。
commentary：茜射す(Akane sasu) is one of the summer situations, illuminated at sunset, also known as magic-hour. It is the ambivalent word that reminds us of silence and hope, all at once. Writers initially used the word in Manyosyu(万葉集), the first collection of Waka(和歌) which was written more than 1200 years ago.
